Hello, I've been adding lots of titles to the database for many months, but today the IMDb cast importing feature broke down somehow. When I import the info from IMDb, I get the Crew members in fine, but in the Cast column I just see something like this:  I have tried rebooting the PC and it didn't help.

This is going to affect everyone as it is a design change on the IMDB site. It will take a while before there is a correction available for this. Some versions ago, we added the option of using inherited cast and crew from the movie profile the disc title refers to, and that is what we recommend doing - it also has the benefit where, if cast and crew are somehow corrected on the movie profile, it will affect all disc title releases that are pointing to it.

Thanks for the updated DLL file. Works with My Movies 4.07 as well. Dropped the DLL file in my "C:\ProgramData\My Movies\DataProviders\" folder replacing the one that was there. IMDB import for Cast is working once again.

Wow! Thanks for the awesome,easy and fast fix for this issue.
I'm curious about this inherit option though, I hadn't heard about this. Is there a page explaining how or where to use it? It sounds like it would be the ideal option to use going forward...

The file is not working for me. It is unable to search after I dropped it into the C:\ProgramData\My Movies\DataProviders dircetory

downloaded the file a couple of times and tried a few tricks. I even reinstalled. still does not work properly. Anytime I press the search button it does not do anything.

You can see the checkbox in the bottom right corner. I couldn't find a page explaining this function in the knowledge base. But if you tick this box, the lists for cast and crew becomes grey and can't be changed on the disc based title anymore. The DLL corrects "Actors" fine but "Genre" are missing still.
