When I moved on to Windows 10 I started using CMC media center instead of Windows Media Center. The developer has continually refined it over the years. It works well and uses MyMovies as it's database. Their forum is helpful for getting started. https://chamconsoft.com/cmc/

Mr. dsteinschneider, could you be kind enough to give instruction on how to install CMC. I have close to 2000 movies that I cannot watch because WMC is not working.
