I am running 5.4.0 now. Thinking of going to 5.4.2. Just noticed that release notes for 5.4.1 say "Windows Media Center parts are no longer included". I am still using Windows Media Center on Windows 11 as my HTPC. Does this mean all integration with Media Center will disappear once I upgrade to 5.4.2?

I believe that if you try to use the newest download of mymovies, You can't use media center any more. If you want mymovies you have to use a previous version of movies, or use cmc which is built for mymovies.
CMC no longer requires a license and it has been improved so that you can use it to work with cmc in many ways. CCC is the easiest way and fastest way to import your data from mymovies and you no longer have to tweak your metadata files downloaded from mymovies and imported into cmc. It uses the mymovies DB API which directly imports your mymovies data into a cmc database so that cmc can directly use that data to play movies, tv shows using many players like mpc, mpc be, vlc, Jriver player, or powerdvd. There are other players I can't think of.

I used to be a Media Center user as well with MyMovies tied into it.. But since MyMovies dropped support for WMC... I switched over to Plex instead.. A much better program, and you can get a lot more detail on your movies...
The only pain was having to rip my DVD and BluRay folders into mkv movie files...
