Hello,

I wanted to convert from DVD Profiler and went to the Import page (https://import.mymovies.dk/), but only get the following message on the page:

"500 - Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed."

Is there an issue with the service, or am I doing anything wrong?

Having same issue trying to install my DVDProfiler backup to My Movies. Log in, click import.mymovies.dk and getting 500- Internal Server Error. I have a large collection of DVD/BD already, My Movies is pretty useless without being able to import 20+ years of data. Any solutions or fixes pending?

Exactly my thoughts - I have about 4,000 entries in DVD Profiler and won't switch to another tool if I can't migrate them. Haven't found anything helpful in the Troubleshooting section or Knowledge Base - if I have missed anything, let me know ...

Please use the link provided:

https://themovie.network/Import

We had a server issue a little over a week ago, and we have migrated everything to a completely fresh server installation - this means that there can be minor things that are not configured correct - which appears to be the case for the import link, which however should just direct to the one provided above.

We are in the middle of a release of My Movies 6, and support for our existing users is at priority at this time - but the above link should work for you.

File name Collection.xml which is the standard export file name assigned by DVD Profiler. Tried directly and via Collection.zip

Email sent with zip file attached

Can you send your file to support@mymovies.dk or upload it on a file sharing site? Then we will take a look.

Also, can you let me know what the exact case sensitive extension is on the file you upload?

Any update on the import failure?

Hi, yesterday I have uploaded my DVD-Profiler collection to MyMovies via the backup-link provided. I did not receive the email with the information about items that have not (or incomplete) been imported. Can I find this Log-file anywhere ore can you provide it via email?

The system will show the results on screen, and send an email - we cannot send that email afterwards.

Please add *@mymovies.dk as a safe sender in your spam settings, and then re-run the import.

I am sorry, but we have not yet had the time for it.

As mentioned, we are upgrading thousands of users to My Movies 6 these days, and I am sorry, but helping our existing users with this is our top priority these days.

You are welcomed to be upset with that, and stay on the DVD Profiler system, which have not answered a single support email for the past 5 years.

I hope that we will get to check your file within the next few days, but I cannot guarantee it.

Guess so. I paid for permanent license 25 years ago and have used the industry std archive software since then. Still works even with a few gltiches.

Yes, sure, the Windows version, with servers being unavailable a few times monthly, and mobile apps that can no longer be used. And, should you be in need of help with account issues or similar, there is no help to get at all.

We will get to your file, but I hope that you can follow that during an upgrade period as we have now, helping our existing users are our top priority.

We ran this though on our test account, and replied back to your email, but did not hear anything back - did you get our email?
