Edited, as the release data for my example title has been corrected, so not a relevant example anymore. But I think the root issue probably remains.

When I try to add data to a title with a release date in the future I get the error: "You may not change the release date of a title that already has a release date set to more than a week into the future. If the release date is incorrect, please use the 'Report Incorrect Data' feature to have a moderator change the release date."

But I did not change the release date. I did add other title data. Same error on Windows and iOS. (I have reported the release date for my title as incorrect).

This looks like a bug maybe - I assume it may be validating the release date (which I didn't change or enter) and then refusing the contribution because the release date is in the future.

Is there anything I can do to contribute data for such a title? Or is contributions for unreleased titles not supposed to be made? Note that I did NOT change the release date on the title I tried to contribute, I only added description and other technical data, but the apps (Windows and iOS) still gave the message about changing the release date.

In this case, you would use the "Report Incorrect Data" function to report the issue, and the staff will correct it.

It is a security thing that is set in place to avoid users adding bogus or incorrect data.
