My WMC has Finally Died

After some 14 years I can no longer see films on WMC. It just isn't there any more.
I can still use AnyDVD* to copy and the Collection Management programme shows all the films on my computer.
But, I now need to download new [different] software to allow me to watch the films I've copied.
Can anyone please recommend a WMC alternative? For instance Kodi or Power DVD?
Would be very grateful for your guidance.

There is cmc which works with mymovies. there is no charge and it and it works with the mymovies api. same look and feel as wmc. a private developer a mymovies user created it. he still enhances it.

go to the cmc downloads page and choose the ccc downloads link

unzip the zipped file to your C: drive

you may need to tell your antivirus to ignore any warnings

go to the cmc forum CCC tutorials

Thanks again waterman. Just thought I'd let you know I'm up and running with CMC. I struggled a bit with the setup initially (at 78 hrs old I'm not as dextrous as I once was) and it's running well. When WMC disappeared I was on the verge of spending a lot of money to upgrade my system so your suggestion has saved me the expense. All the best.
