How should incorrect information printed on a title's cover be handled?
A current example is the German DVD release of Alone in the Dark. The actual runtime of the movie is 95:40 minutes, but the cover states 99 minutes.
In such cases, what should be entered in the corresponding runtime field? Should the database reflect the actual verified runtime, or should it reproduce the runtime printed on the cover, even if that information is incorrect?
I'm interested in hearing how others handle situations like this and whether there is an established guideline for such discrepancies.

I would personally put the correct time on it. I don't think we've should be slavishly sticking to typo's and errors that are on covers.
As an example. I used to put descriptions in all caps if the covers were in all caps. But the admins would always deny it, which makes me assume they care more about what's correct, rather than blindly sticking to what's on the print.
