Regardless of whether a Title contains only a "4K Ultra HD" disc or a mix of "4K Ultra HD" + "Blu-ray" discs, the app forces "No Region Code" into the "Region" field. This should only be forced if the Title is ONLY "4K Ultra HD" discs. If a Title has both UHD and Blu-ray/DVD, the Blu-rays are typically region-locked, so forcing the "Region" field to state "No Region Code" causes the data to be in error and harmful.

For example, the Radiance box set "Underworld Chronicles" (barcode 5060974683215) contains four Blu-ray discs, plus one 4K UHD disc. All of the Blu-ray discs are locked to Region B, yet the app forces the box set to erroneously claim "No Region Code" in the "Region" field, simply because one of the five discs is 4K UHD. Despite the claim of "No Region Code", users in Region A would only be able to play 20% of the discs in the box set.

To fix: Whenever "Blu-ray" (or "DVD") is checked under "Type", regardless of whether "4K Ultra HD" is also checked, the "Region" field should be modifiable by the user to correctly reflect the actual region coding restrictions on the Title. Failure to do so harmfully misinforms people referring to the record. Thanks.

This is a known limitation, and not considered as a bug.

The primary format dictates when can and cannot be entered on the profiles.

I have made a note that it is something we can improve on.

For the special case of “Underground Chronicles”, in the meantime I’ve put in a “Report Incorrect Data” request to change the primary “Type” from “4K Ultra HD” to “”Blu-ray” so we can indicate that four of the five discs are region-locked and inaccessible to people in Region A.

Should that request go to the “Support” email instead?
