Some time back, I tried to create a Movie record for IMDB-ID "tt0026762" when none was pulled in when I entered the ID into the field for IMDB-ID in a Title record for "The Girl from the Marsh Croft" in a box set. (See attachment) Eventually, when I created the box set for barcode 5060000705638 ("Sirk in Germany") , the correct public Movie record was pulled in.

Now, I have a second box set "The Douglas Sirk Collection" (barcode 738329257675) which also contains "The Girl from the Marsh Croft". When I created the disc Title and filled the field IMDB-ID with "tt0026762", the Movie record pulled in was the invalid *personal* Movie record that failed before, and not the valid *public* record. (see second attached file)

I can't seem to be able to delete the invalid *personal* Movie record for IMDB-ID "tt0026762". I've tried the DELETE function. I've tried de-referencing it and doing a backup with clean-up, and restarting the app. There seems to be no way to get rid of this zombie record. How do I get this out of my database?

Alternately, could someone on the support team simply change the reference in IMDB-ID in the child Title record "The Girl from the Marsh Croft" in the box set "The Douglas Sirk Collection" (barcode 738329257675) from "tt0000000" to "tt0026762" and click the box to "Inherit Cast & Crew"? If I can't delete the zombie record in my database, that would at least solve the immediate problem. Thanks.

I found a work-around, but I'd still love to delete the zombie record.

I modified the IMDB-ID on the zombie *personal* Movie record from "tt0026762" to a nonsense ID of "tt9926999", changed the reference in the Title record to tt0000000 and saved. Then returned the ID on the Title record to tt0026762 and it pulled in the public Movie record and not the local zombie. I did a "Contribute Title Data" against my submitted box set record with the corrected data. Hopefully that does the trick.

The zombie record is still in my local database, and I'd love to get it out, but at least it is not currently colliding with any real records.
