I'm in trouble for contributing a dvd: "CSI - Grave Danger", barcode 8026120176564, the two episodes directed by Tarantino, released as a single movie/one disc, but in IMDB they have two different IDs (tt0534695 Volume 01 and tt0534695 Volume 02) and are not separated from the usual episodes.

Do I have to make a boxset, or two spare titles, or build a unique title without IMDB ID?

I suppose you could make it into a box-set with 2 separate 12 Zero titles for each movie/episode - that is definately an option. Chances, are, though, someone will just wander along and keep completing it to a normal title - not knowing that you have created a box-set with 2 12 Zero Creations hee hee.
Does that give you any ideas?

You do primarily Italian titles, right, so it will be probably 13 Zero creations.

The Grave Danger episodes are released as one single DVD (with one single barcode). I think it's far out that it shall be added as a boxset, just because IMDB has it as 2 titles. IMDb is not the ultimate truth regarding movie info. There are currently a bunch of movies, that don't exist on IMDb, and there are a bunch of movies where the info on IMDb isn't complete!

If that is the way MM really wants to go, then I guess the contribution guide should be really clear on it. It would also be very atural to scape all possible data from IMDB.

But then again, that's just imo :)

Ah I see - so they are not technically movies? Just episodes?
Here is the issue - I know absolutely nothing about CSI, so I may not be making the best decision on it...

If they are episodes, and not movies, then no - it should not be a box-set. If that is the case, then we will be opening up the door to one dvd spawning 12 inidvidual items - which we must avoid at this point. Hopefully we will have better television series at some point, so this problem will be handled much mor elegantly.

So basically, this dvd is just a dvd with 2 episodes that happen to be directed by a special director? I'm sorry, I'm just really ignorant about CSI.

Does IMDB Have a master IMDB ID for both of these episodes as well? Do any of the other CSI Episodes have their own IMDB ID? We might, in the end, have to either:
1- Pick and Choose one of the IMDB IDs.
2- Use the main IMDB ID for the entire series.
3- Or use NO IMDB ID (which I think would be the worst possible situation in this instance, now that I know a little more about it).

"CSI - Grave Danger", barcode 8026120176564, Rental Edition

These are the two episodes directed by Quentin Tarantino, composing a full story, released as a single movie/one disc, although in the dvd menu you have to choose wich episode want to see.

In IMDB they have two different IDs:

tt0534695 - Volume 01
tt0534696 - Volume 02

They're not separated from the usual episodes (same cast/crew/genre).

I've attached the cover (no problem if somebody else steal me the job... Wink)

Maybe a box set with the correct barcode (but without IMDb ID) and two sub-titles with thirteen zeros barcodes (and the right IMDb IDs) ???

As bald says, it's no actual imdb page for Grave Danger, but it has 2 IMDb IDs, both link to the general CSI profile.

In practice it wouldn't matter what IMDb ID would be used. If using the Id for Grave Danger Volume 1, or Volume 2 og General CSI, they all wound wind up on the same page.

For now, let's just choose one of the IMDB IDs, and we'll see what happens when we have better TV Handling. It's a strange situation, that's for sure.
