Hi All,

Since today afternoon, I try to connect to the my movie online Servers but the Connection Failed every time. It happens on the log on.

I reinstalled the app and deleted the folder on the sdcard to generate a new config. Connection Failed again.

I got full HSDPA so this isn't the issue.

Yea, me too !
I thought I was going crazy, so glad someone else has reported it too.
Logging on via the web pages is working (obviously), and access using the My Movies Collection Management application is fine too.

Same problem here.

I couldn't connect with my PC either....

Error Message: My Movies could not connect to the database on the local server. This could be due to a database being detached without being correctly attached again during backup. My Movies can attempt to attach its database - would you to try this now?

After Im pressing YES this error message appears:

My Movies could not connect to the database server. The server may not be running, or My Movies was not installed correct. The programm can not continue.



But the programm runs fine yesterday....

Same here... Motorola DROID. I suspect it is not our phones because they were all working perfectly fine previously and there has not been any recent updates to the app on the Android Market. Server issue of some sort most likely. We'll have to wait for Brian to comment to really know what's going on.

Same deal herw. Tried logging in/synchronize and get cannot connect to server message. I've tried from my HTC Desire and Samsung Galaxy Tab...no dice. I need to log some borrowed out movies!

This is a different problem to do with Collection Management. I had this a while back. Search the forums or check my previous posts for a solution.

It's only been 24 hours, most of which are out of work time. Not every company can afford the luxuries of 24/7 support. Heck, I get worse support on software I've spent much, much more on.

I did read somewhere about planned server upgrades, but can't remember where. Hopefully will be resolved soon.

We are looking into it.

The SSL certificate on the API was about to expire, and a new have been inserted.

This appears to be giving problems on Android.

We are investigating why.

It has been discovered that Android have problems with the new SSL certificate which is 2048 bit encryption, istead of 1024 bit as the prior one was.

We have temporary changed the service to use the prior certificate, and will have a new one re-issued with 1024 bit encryption instead.

I have the same problem. When I try to connect to the online Servers I recive the next message:

"Connection Failed: The device could not connect to the online servers".
