Hi,
I would like to bypass the Dune home screen (with the Sources, Favourites, Setup etc menus at the top) and have the Dune load directly to the My Movies interface.
Is this possible?
I would like to be able to turn the Dune player on and have it boot in to My Movies without having to browse to Favourites and then the My Movies icon. I would also like for when I stop a film, that it goes back to the My Movies interface instead of sometimes to the Dune home screen.

Can't be done. Dune HDI just doesn't want to allow it. Only possibility is to manage that with a universal remote like an harmony and program the correct sequence...

Thanks. As I thought but wanted to check. I am using a Control4 setup so will see what I can do to automate it.
Out of interest, are there any other players (e.g. Popcorn Hour etc) where I can do something like this?

I have Control4 as well using a Dune Player and MyMovies. What I do is use an iPad and select the Control4 to watch the Dune Player, then use the MyMovies interface on the iPad to pick the movie and use the MyMovies remote control to control Dune. This get's me away from having to sync to the Dune and skips the Dune interface.

What Dune player do you have? I have the Prime with the latest beta, and I have it configured to have my favorites on the main page, so there's not really a lot of navigating required. Also, I've never seen the Dune go to the home page when the movie is stopped. So, I'm just wondering if it's an issue with your model or maybe the firmware version you are running.

Here's a thread for Harmony remotes. I've never seen it go back to the home screen after watching a movie.

I have Control4 as well and if memory serves, there's an issue with the Control4 driver for Dune. Check the Control4 forums.
Mine does this plus when watching a movie in one room, it goes back to the home screen when adding another room.
