First i just want to say I LOVE the app, makes keeping my 650+ collection organozed. Question 1: how do you delete a catagory i created? Question 2: two dvds i have dont have the covers and i dont have a scanner to scan and submit the cover so what else can i do to request to get a cover for it because im a little anal about stuff like that.

If you can find a cover on the internet you can use that. Note if the barcode doesn't match or the image has a watermark then you can't use them for contribution. If you just want them for your own use you can add them but do not contribute.

Android and iOS applications do not have contribution options. This must be done from Windows or Mac.
You may report it as missing, and the moderators will try to add one for you. But do keep in mind, we are limited in what we can do, so if we cannot find an acceptable cover, you'll have to have patience and wait for someone with a scanner to supply it.

ok, thanx guys. I can find a cover online for the 2 i need or i could use my camera and try to get a good pic of the cover & crop it but then how do i submit either ones i found or the pic i took of front & back. Nobody knows about my other question? Also i downloaded the PC application but cant get my collection imported to the PC app?

Photos are not acceptable if you want to contribute. They must be scans.
To sync to PC, go to Webservice, Synchronize Online and Mobile Collection. Now this next part is extremely important!: select Download to Client.
Once this is done correctly, you'll be prompted to sync whenever changes have been made from another client.

Its easy to find a cover for a movie now a days though, the pc app is syncing my collection now & after its done i will report the two i have missing covers for

Last thing i need. I finished syncing my collection on the PC app and i found the covers for the 2 movies that didnt have covers and added them on the PC app, i then saved and uploaded & synced ipad but it still wont show the covers on ipad? How can i get the covers to show up on ipad or report missing box art?

They will go to moderator approval first. When it has been approved or declined, you will get an email. Once approved, then it will come up in an update.

ok, i wasnt sure if it did get submitted cause it said it cant be without a back cover or with one that doesnt match barcode..... dont remember exactly but it was something like that. I only found a cover on amazon for them and when i find someone with a scanner near me i will scan them or i will ask someone who has the dvds cause there from music artist Bizzy Bone there is is a forum for the group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony i know a bunch of people will have the dvds and can scan them for me & give me there UPC number & i can update it at later time. I will be helping out to with getting some of those to 100% if possible to help out with the database :) I been wanting to have a list of my dvds for months but been to layzie to make one, thanx to this program i now have one :) best app i have bought for my ipad

i just got a scanner (Hp Scanjet G3010) so i will scan the 2 dvd covers needed and any others i find, how long does it normally take to be aproved?

24 hours or so, depending on volume of submissions and staff availability.

You can delete a category from the Select Categories window in the Collection Management program.
