My Play Store email account that I used to pay for the My Movies subscription is different than the email I used to register my account; this seems to have caused the app to go haywire. I see no way anywhere to update my email address so that they can match.
If the app does not like two emails that don't match then it should not have allowed me to input a different email than my Play Store account. How is a customer supposed to change their email if they ever need to update it when there is no option to do so anywhere (that I can see).
I'm assuming the above is the problem I'm having (emails don't match). It constantly wants me to resubscribe even though I'm already subscribed.
Furthermore, I signed up for the $10 dollars a year subscription. But even though I've only had the app since July 28th it's telling me that on the 28th of August it will be charging my credit card another $10 (!) --even though a monthly subscription is .99 cents per month, not $10. Weird stuff.
I would have just paid the $30 for the "pro app" had the trial app offered it to me after my first 50 films were input into it; but this was not offered and it made no mention that there are two versions when it came time to subscribe.
Please advise, Mike/GenX
Update: Gave me Error Code 2.2 7 Says "You're already subscribed" * bangs head on desk *
